TedX Video: Sir Ken Robinson says schools kill creativity.

I paraphrase Sir Ken Robinson:

“A little girl in a drawing lesson. This little girl hardly ever paid attention but in drawing she did. The teacher went over and asked her what she was drawing. The girl said she was drawing a picture of God. The teacher was taken aback and said but no one knows what God looks like. The girl said, in a minute they will. ”

“No one imagines Shakespeare being 7 but he was in somebody’s English class. <insert laughter>.”

“Every Education system has the same hierarchy of subjects” Watch to find out which one it is.

I agree, schools are killing creativity. Sir Ken Robinson is awesome. I think schools will be better if creativity is encouraged.
