Yesterday, followed some people and they followed me back. And then, I got the dreaded automated Direct Messages. I dislike automated Direct Messages on Twitter. Here are my reasons:
- Since Twitter is for talking to people, sending me a DM just when you follow us, without getting to know us makes me feel like you are advertising to us.
- Social media is for being social. It is not for broadcasting information one way.
- When you send me an auto DM, it makes me feel like you don’t care for my time.
